Flyglobespan’s new service between Glasgow Interntational and Orlando Sanford took off today (June 2), providing the first ever daily flights from Scotland to Florida, and the first daily no-frills flights to Florida from any UK airport. The Orlando flights will be operated using a Boeing 767-300, fitted with power outlets for PC and video games at every seat, and a minimum seat pitch of 31 inches. With the additional flights to Florida, AirTran Airways will offer Pittsburgh travelers a total of nine daily flights. Myers 801 2:17 p.m.
